Martin, the author explains that he chose this particular therapist in Birmingham, AL, because of the personal experiences he had with him. Mr. Martin states, “I had been in a lot of pain, my depression was very bad and I really felt like I was losing all hope.” He continues, “My therapist, who was a Licensed Professional Psychologist, told me that I had to change my habits. The center was well planned and maintained, and when the center had a conference coming up, Michael realized that he needed to come along because he thought it was important. Michael was glad to see how clean and organized the place was because he was sure that he would have made the wrong decision if he had not gone. After talking with his therapist and visiting their clinic he found the perfect therapist to work with him on his addiction.
