Gayle S Janzen is a nationally-recognized and best-selling drug addiction therapist and substance abuse counselor. Her expertise as a drug and alcohol recovery expert makes her well-known in the fight against drug addiction to alcohol and other substances. She has been treating substance abuse and addiction for over 35 years.

Gayle S Janzen is a recovered addict, which she explains is someone who has been through the cycles of addiction and has become a changed person. She has a master’s degree in substance abuse counseling and works as a substance abuse treatment coordinator and clinical professor at the Baptist Health Care Institute at Fort Lauderdale-Stnton Beach, Florida. She is a member of the National Association for Alcoholism and Addiction (NAAAA) and is very active in the fight against substance abuse. Her book “Trauma and Substance Abuse: A Clinical Treatment Guide for the Prevention of Alcohol and Other Drug addictions” is the basis for many of her current works. Gayle has also received many awards for her work with substance abuse, including the Outstanding Professional title from the AAFSB (American Association of Clinical Sports Therapists), the Outstanding Sportscaster title from the AAFSB, the Outstanding Mental Health Therapist award from the AAFSB.
