More about Therapists in Eufaula Alabama

A certified and approved American Addiction Center (AAC) facility, Sunrise House, offers a comprehensive continuum of care to adults struggling with alcohol and substance abuse problems. The facility runs several outpatient treatment programs within its facility, which is located on twenty acres in Sussex County, NJ, overlooking the Hudson River. From age-specific groups and trauma-focused programs to gender-specific programs and outreach programs, Sunrise House offers an array of choices to individuals in need. Programs range from residential drug rehabs to long-term outpatient services to outpatient treatment. “I was a heavy drinker in my early twenties and was able to overcome my addiction to alcohol and drug use with the support and guidance of a top addiction treatment center,” says a client. “It was only then that I learned about recovery from alcohol and drug use through 12-step programs. It was at this point that I chose to work with a reputable substance abuse clinic.” A recent graduate of a recovery program at Sunrise House, the client went on to say, “I know I was able to stay sober and stay clean by myself and through a team of people I trusted. They provided me with support every step of the way.” He continued, “I am excited to begin working with someone who understands me and understands how I feel. I feel like I will have a more profound understanding of my addiction and the treatment process and am looking forward to building a better future together.” While a good care and support network are essential, there are also some aspects of recovery that a good therapist can help to manage. For instance, one client said that he feels overwhelmed with his drug and alcohol addiction; he is a perfectionist and can become defensive if he does not feel like everything is perfect, including himself. “I am a perfectionist when it comes to myself and the things I do, and the things I think, and the ways I want to act. … . It is very difficult, but I know I am making progress by facing it head on and keeping my head held high.”
