Becca Goodwin is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in Fairhope, AL. She specializes in helping people recover from the effects of drug addiction. Becca is an associate clinical professor in the Department of Family Practice at The University of Alabama School of Medicine. She completed her training in psychology at Florida International University. Before entering the field of marriage and family therapy, Becca worked as a mental health nurse. After completing her training in psychiatry, she pursued a Master’s Degree at The University of Alabama School of Social Work.

Becca is a member of The Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and The Society of Marriage and Family Therapy. She is an active member of the national board of directors of American Society for Marriage and Family Therapy. Becca has published several books on drug addiction treatment. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from The University of Alabama and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Becca has been awarded many professional awards, including being listed as one of the 100 top mental health and mental retardation specialists in the United States by Family Circle Magazine. Becca is a member of the National Board of Certified Clinical Therapists. Becca is a member of the National Council for Rehabilitative Accreditation and is a member of the North Central Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the National Marriage and Family Therapy Association.

Becca is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, National Association of Clinical Social Workers and is also a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Fairhope. She is a past president of both the Southern Association of Psychological Associations and is on the board of directors of the Southern Psychological Association. She is a member of the National Board of Professional Responsibility.
