This program has been used by a variety of organizations and individuals as a means of providing a way for them to provide for their families and to learn how to become better caregivers. She works closely with local community groups and organizations, creating programs that are geared toward those in the community who need assistance and support. Alyssa is also actively involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and is an active member of the Juvenile Diabetes Education Center.
