The University of Alabama School of Law has a number of qualified Rainwater Counseling Therapists working within their campus in the Madison, AL area. “Counseling” is their business name. “Private practice from a spiritual perspective.” So what exactly does that mean? “The practitioner works with individuals on their own private spiritual journey. Experiencing a life crisis or life change, the practitioner guides clients through the healing process and guides them in their spiritual journey.
Client’s are given a personal message by the counselor. This can be in the form of a poem, song, story or anything else they may desire. Once a message is received the client is then encouraged to write down what they remember about that experience. The counselor then listens to the client’s thoughts as well as the music played in the background. This allows the counselor to learn more about the client. Then the sessions begin. The counseling session usually lasts up to an hour.
All therapy can take some time to work through. The length of each session depends on how much time it takes for the individual to recover. Counseling sessions are confidential and most will never disclose the information of who they are speaking to. Once the client is healed the counseling session is over and they return home with a new sense of direction in their life.
