Dr. Charles T. Rubio is the first and only licensed therapist in Opelika, Alabama who is a member of the American Board of Professional Therapists. He was born in the Dominican Republic in 1960 and came to the United States when he was fourteen years old to study psychology at the University of Miami. He graduated from the University of Florida and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Puerto Rico.

Dr. Charles T. Rubio is a licensed therapist that is an expert in counseling, cognitive behavior therapy and hypnotherapy. He has been a licensed therapist for twenty years and has worked in private practice as a certified marriage and family therapist and as a family therapist. He also specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy and self-help and motivational techniques.

Dr. Charles T. Rubio has developed a program called “Compassionate Therapy”. This program will help you learn how to work with the person to change the thoughts, emotions and behaviors that are causing the problem.
